UCI seemed to point the blame at WADA for giving them ammo to stop investigating. Then WADA seemed to contradict themselves in their release.
It's been a weird day!

The National champs has been interesting in a good way though Connor Swift (of Madison Genesis) winning the british and Mathieu Van der Poel (prefers being muddy) the dutch.
here's some youtube vids if you want to watch how they came to win:

One for the mechanics on here... Had to change my rear gear cable as the shifting went to shit, done that all fine and decided I should do the front at the same time although it was working fine, what a fucking mistake. However much I piss around with cable tension and H L screws I cannot get it to drag the mech over far enough to go onto the big ring, it doesn't have barrel adjusters but even pulling it tight with it on the small ring and then tightening the cable clamp doesn't give enough movement! Its not majorly urgent as picked up new bike this morning , but want to get this one set up on the turbo for when the weather cools a little. LBS not really an option as thats a drive away, plus I will look like a twat? Any suggestions?

Front mechs are a notorious faff. Don’t feel too stupid over it.
Correct threading on the pinch bolt can be an issue. There may be a small notch that the cable has to go round. Can make all the difference if you’ve not got it through there.
Sounds a bit counter intuitive but having the cable too taught can be a problem too. Have the slack out of it by all means but you shouldn’t be able to use it as cheese wire or get a note out it either.
Other thing to consider is if it’s a band-on derailleur is if it’s been knocked or pulled out of line, I.e not running completely parallel to the chain rings. A small tweak on mine makes a big difference between it not shifting up at all or the chain going straight up and over.
Let us know how you get on.

I will have another look, although I have a new toy to play with!
Interesting that in all the fuss about Froome its reported that Vardy has an 'injection' for his injury, can you imagine all the bollocks would fly about if it had bee in cycling, but then I forget there is no doping in Football......

The Russian players looked spritely in extra time v Spain, ok you can put their improvement down to being at home, but given various bans for state sponsored doping you have to wonder.... but we're not allowed to talk politics on the WC thread.

Cyclists are mental aren’t they Lawson Craddock, the lanterne rouge, deserves a mention, crashed on the first stage, and fractured a shoulder blade, as well as some nasty facial abrasions, but decided to try and carry on.... first few days always at the back looking like he wouldn't do it, but whilst some of the sprinters like Cav, Kittel, Greipel and Groenewegan, missed the time cut, he made it to Paris.
