Surely all (most?) of us agree that PdC is far from perfect but most of us accept that he has his flaws and hope that he can iron them out but meanwhile are enjoying the ride.
To an extent his flaws may be helping us retain him longer as they are likely to make a number of clubs at higher levels much more wary about taking a punt on him.

Ha! All this over a pre-season article to fill some column inches. Di Canio probably has matured but it doesn't mean that he's a changed man.

It will be interesting to see how Di Canio copes with mid-table/relegation form in the same way as how it was interesting and then depressing to observe a seasoned pro like Danny Wilson deal with a failing squad.

It's called football management.
