No you haven't. This is exactly the sort of occasion where you should be big enough to let a criticism pass without comment, but you have to have the last word, as usual. Like lots of insecure people, you're a bit of a bully. Yes you should have phoned Phil Smith, but of course, once people are out of your plans, they simply don't exist any more.
We'll see another side of di Canio when things don't go so well. It'll end in tears.

Well now Davis seems to have caved in there's only me left to put an opposing view. Oh, and I think we should have given McCormick a chance too.

I am all for people having whatever opinions. He has done alot wrong but redfrog your views are unbalanced and 1 sided.Pauld has not caved in either but i bet he is mature enough to admit that when he puts aside his own feelings that we have a manager who has done a good job so far.

Allowed to have an opinion obviously, just seems like your wishing for Di Canio and the club to fail so he is out of the door quicker.

I obviously agree you can't argue with di Canio's results, but you don't have to like the guy. I think he's treated all sorts of people very poorly, and I think like most managers, his approach will really be tested when things get tough. Not sure Jeremy will add five more players to the wage-bill next time Paolo goes on a pogrom. I want him to change rather than fail, but I don't think he can change as much as I'd want.

Change? Why?

I disagree, he does need to calm it down a little bit. He can still have the passion (they day he loses that will be the day he walks out of the game) he just needs to be a bit more in control of it at times. As a manager it should be possible to have a difference of opinions with a player without it ending up as 'right, that's it, you're never going to play for the club again' (which is what I believe happened with Timlin) Or if a rival manager makes a comment about you or your team just ignore it for fucks sake, don't get drawn in. He just needs to channel the passion a bit more selectively. There are times to be passionate and times to be calm and step back. Whether that happens of course is a different matter.
