All restrictions related to the EFL loan end after one season anyway, regardless of whether or not the money has been paid back.
So come next summer, we will be able to offer longer term contacts and more than £1300 a week.

Ah I wasn't aware of that then. That would explain why there is no rush to pay off that loan ASAP. Cheers.

Rob Angus pretty much said the same on Rich’s podcast the other week. Well worth a listen.

Game time will do him the world of good, hes close to being able to fill in for our current 1st teamers but not quite there yet, one for the future.

Thought he played well on Tuesday.
Chippenham seems to be the go to option for a lot of our loans.
Maybe that allows them to still train here for some of the week at least.
A decent level & chance of getting noticed higher up the food chain for the next loan. Didn't do Twine any harm.

But isn't that going to a lower standard that he was playing when we signed him?

I think its one level up. Worthing are below national league. Chippenham worked for Twine to an extent; although there is a strong argument that he really kicked on when he went to Newport

Think Worthing are Isthmian Prem. Chippenham are National League South.

And we can still use him in the PJT too I think.

Its a good move for him, Chippenham or Hungerford, they are pretty much feeder teams for us anyway and both a level above where he was playing at.

Certainly nothing on Twiter and only a few photos a that I can see on Insta (none Swindon).

I think I'll "panic" more if he's not in the squad on Saurday though.
