Anthony Grant is probably the best player (midfield) we've had since 1st season Jonathan Douglas.

I wonder why he's never seemingly played higher than Div 3  Hmmm
I agree, apparently he can have an "attitude" which puts off a lot of managers.

Wellens seems to bring the best out of him, hes far better than even Kasim in his prime.

Including subs AG has played about 500 league games, his attitude can't be that bad.  Yaser is one of those rather sad stories, for a while with us he looked different class, but it was short lived. Of the sexy beast midfield of Luongo, Louis T, Gladwin and Yaser, only ML has gone on.... Louis and Ben undone by injury. Yaser  Shrug who knows.

Yaser  Shrug who knows.

I had always assumed that with a bit of success he just disappeared up his own arse, his Wiki makes interesting reading if only for the way its composed. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yaser_Kasim

Had forgotten we got 4 seasons out of him.

I reckon Wellens just talk straight to any potential troublemakers and says "We aren't here to fuck about, we're here to get success. Have an attitude then there's the door with a terminated contract. Play football and work hard/to potential then we all succeed/get moves we want/next steps."

I'm very aware these wouldn't be his exact words but I'm sure he doesn't stand for any shit. He's a Manc for starters; most Mancs I have known are gobby fuckers and opinionated. As well as not mincing their words they also do like to exaggerate whether on a negative or positive point.

Yaser was absolutely brilliant between 2013-2015. There was, for whatever reason, a significant decline between 2015 and 2017.

Loved watching him in those years when he was on it.  Worth the admission money alone.

I see that Dave has joined Morcambe after his contract was terminated today, he must have got some sort of pay off for him to join them straight away

On another note I see that Vigs has joined Orient on a freebie

I hope we offer him another year, like we have with Conroy. He deserves it, and will be cheap.
