We will however have had to give them some sort of pay off....

But they'd probably still have recieved a hefty sum. It's not like we can take all of that money out of the budget. Still good, though.

Oh they will do, probably at least a 75% pay off for the rest of their contract I would imagine, hopefully it will still be less than the entire contract pay off so saving us a little on the budget.

Glad we got shot of them. Just not quite up to the quality of the rest of the squad.

I'd imagine something like that is the deal. It was fairly obvious early doors, despite some not agreeing, that TD was a bit Nalis. Shame as he could have been a Grant type player

Diagouraga has already agreed to join Morecambe, so maybe his pay off isn’t as significant as we may think

I know i've said this a lot, but Diagouraga was an absolute carthorse every time I saw him. Slow, lumbering, clumsy and absolutely brainless in the tackle. Grant is a significantly better player.

Unlikely that Mcglashan will go back to Chesterfield after they sacked their manager Sheridan this morning.

Anthony Grant is probably the best player (midfield) we've had since 1st season Jonathan Douglas. I wonder why he's never seemingly played higher than Div 3

I wonder why he's never seemingly played higher than Div 3 I vaguely remember him playing for Peterborough at the CG and he was very poor, actually more like Swindon Diagouraga than Swindon Grant. I guess he 'fancies it' at the moment and its bringing out the best in him. Long may it last.
