The lad is done. In professional football at least. Very long way back from one ACL, two of them...the odds aren't in his favour. It was a certain Matt Preston who came in as cover. This time it's Zakuani.

I originally said, the odds aren't in his favour. The same area and compounded damage on an historically damaged area...it looks very doubtful. All bodies repair at different rates. Medicine still learns from the human body every day. I hope Conroy is one of those exceptional bodies that surprise even the most positive of surgeons. |
