Footballer getting an injury? Can't be right, must be a conspiracy.

I was right in front of the incident at Melksham and Richards fell very awkwardly.
Zero conspiracy.

The fact that we look so lacking, does make me think that there must be a couple of decent signings lined up as well as filling up the quota of loan kids. However PB showed a willingness to give some of the youth team a chance last season, so maybe he'll just use them to plug the gaps.

I still think there is more to come in. But the clock is ticking, I'd have thought they'd be in by now to be honest.
in the quotes, Brown did say he's opened the shopping list for a striker. Frankly I'm surprised it wasn't already open.

Just read that story. Seems a tad strange in truth. Which aspect of it, the injury, the bit about him coming back motivated or something else?

When Richards was walking down the tunnel, James Dunne, from the stand, asked Richards what he’d done. Richards reply was ‘something in my shoulder cracked, it’s fucked’ Clearly that was a planned cover up.

Easy to add rubbish players. Can only hope we are after some decent additions that are a bit harder to get as other clubs interested to. Power must know if we start the season with an under 21 team and get beat he will have to stick his tin hat on fast.

As things stand, for our opener v Macc..... Vigs Knoyle, Robertson, Romanski, Taylor McGlashan, Smith, Alzate Twine, Elijah, Keshi

3 weeks to go, this will not be the team that faces Macc thats pretty obvious really.
At the same stage of the season last year we had 1 fit striker in Norris (with Twine and 2 trialists playing) Mullin wasn't fit and a midfield of Dunne, Linganzi and Starkey.

We signed Harry Smith exactly a year ago, and the season's opener a bit later.... think Paul Mullin was also here.

We did sign Smith just after but do you honestly think we won't sign any new players before the first game of the season? honestly?
I think there will be at least 4 or 5 new signings before then, possibly 3 more loans in that number but I don't think for one minute we won't sign 1 or more perms too.

Discussing the strength of the squad as it is pointless.
