Makes you wonder why we bothered taking him on trial to begin with.

Not really, they may have thought they might be able to strike a deal. Or it could be that he wanted a promise of starting each week which we couldn't offer.

Not even a squad number for Storey
Get in, it's staggering he's managed to live off two goals for so long.

It's the second season in a row that he hasn't has a squad number at Swindon.

No idea what happened with his development, up until that penalty miss at Brentford he looked a decent prospect

And we signed him on a new contract thereafter. Then virtually froze him out in favour of George fucking Barker.

Most odd. He may well be "shit", but still say he wasn't given a fair crack to prove/disprove it. Has he got some clause in his contract one wonders.

Oh and to add controversy, not seen any more from Hylton than Storey...yet (edit: don't get me wrong, he seems to have something, hope he scores a shit load obviously).

Storey is an odd one. Like many have said, he was obviously kept on for a reason (at one point)..

Seemed to score a shit load for the juniors and ressies, but I wonder if he'll actually go anywhere and make a real impact, or whether he'll end up somewhere like Eastleigh etc..

Ah well it's not like he's been thrown into the first team or anything, not even in the squad today. I'd imagine he's cheap also, might be more about numbers for development games than anything else. At least he doesn't have any links to Jed!
