Great defensive record, 12 goals, no yellow cards, no red cards, probable player of the season for Bristol City award on its way.
I'm all for disliking Flint, and I really do, but he's had a stonking season.
We've got a 20% sell-on so hopefully he's getting noticed.

I was wondering about this. English football still has an addiction to the big centre half....even Arsenal have Mertersaker who's a donkey.....and then you get the likes of Brede Hangeland, who did OK for himself. Cardiff paid 5 mill for Sean Morrison, but of course we had no sell on....so you never know.

I was reliably informed at the time of Flint's departure that we do have a sell on however just like the Austin deal where Fitton was quids in, any sell on fee we receive is to be split between Jed, Murrell and Rice. Crafty fuckers.

I'd like to think that City fans have been premature and have been wasting their money buying those shirts because it could become inaccurate very quickly.
I'd like to think Town would use this sort of stuff (mostly Flint's Sky Sports comment) as an incentive.
Alas, the Gods of Football have rarely been that great to our fans and I doubt it would give us that sweet(ish) moment.
Here's hoping...

Talking of sell ons and feel free to mock me, but do you think we had the nous to put some kind of clause in Matt ritchie's contract that we might be due some moolah should he play in the premiership?

In any other situation, we probably would have. But Black's exit left Town on their knees. I'm still bitter on Ritchie's departure. Not really at Bournemouth, just the whole sorry situation.

Doubt they had time to talk about clauses given the timescales involved.
