That is not great news. Hopefully we'll get someone else in short term to cover, it'd be a shame to shoe-horn a right footer in there.
Not really much point in having squad men like Bartram, then not playing them. It is preferable to have a left footer, but a decent player should be able to compensate.. |

One of those dodgy injuries it can be quite difficult to estimate...best case would be maybe 2 months, worst case a year. |

I did my ankle ligaments many years ago and it's never been right since. However, I didn't get much in the way of medical treatment, so that might have something to do with it.

Personally I dont think that Nathan Thompson is good enough for L1 and should have been let go.
I wonder how much him getting a new contract is down to the fact that he shares the same agent as PDC as does Louis Thompson. I do know that one of the current youth team players was contacted by said agent earlier this year with the promise that 'if you sign up with me you'll be fast tracked into the first team'..........
