He started as a winger so why not try him out there if he's about for another season. He may even chip in with 5 or 6 goals.

Re: '20 goals a season striker' didn't Smith get 8 since he joined? Not bad considering he joined in January, and for the most part he was playing as a lone striker...which clearly doesn't suit his game...

Admittedly he needs to work on that first touch though.

But we don't play with wingers...

It wouldn't be a summer without being linked to an FGR player and we've already been linked to Turley.

Turley is a very strong possibility, Cooper has been scouting FGR for a number of weeks.

So Norwood and Klukowski is on...

I'm sure that Rovers fan who comes on here every other summer telling us how great they'll in the upcoming season will no doubt keep us posted.

I saw the name Norwood and hoped it would be Oliver, midfield lynchpin to my FM11 Swindon squad. Set piece king, dynamo playmaker, tough-tackling, ball winning midfielder.

Fucking beast.

Pity it is not him, though!

The FGR player is James Norwood

I know, hence why I said I saw the name 'Norwood' and hoped it would be Oliver.

The worrying thing is looking at the players that are under contract or are in talks if you take out the first year pros & the Samsung player it leaves a squad of 20. This was the number mentioned towards the end of the season that we would be looking at of Swindon players.

I know that means we have a few loan signings still to come in (which will be very important) but might suggest that we have a one in/one out policy.
