Also interesting is Caddis is 17, Benson is 14 and Williams 16. Maybe it was kind of like last year where PDC says, "help yourself, I don't care" and it was a bit first come first served?

If I was a player, I'd choose number 1. It's also the number my best striker plays as in Football Manager.

"Squad numbers just released for #STFC - Paul Caddis has moved to 17 after the birth of his first child on that date"

Chris Tanner just tweeted that.

I think Collins was quoted as saying he wanted the no 9 shirt.

Should do it alphabetically...Ossie wore No 2 in 1978.

Also, I just found out that Argentina won the fair play award in that tournament...pay off some Peruvian and unfreeze a few national assets?  Fair Play!

Rooney 7 has a good ring to it...will most likely go on the back of my shirt this season!

Cibo's contract terminated by mutual consent. Family reasons apparently!

Disappointing but not entirely surprising. Good luck Cibbo.

I said at the start of the season, due to the short season with starting a week later due to the Olympics, and finishing a week earlier due to the CL Final at Wembley and having to play the PO Final a week earlier, I said that we will have to put up with a squad rotation system, eapecially that PdC wants to win every game possible. That means we'll could have cup runs on both the League Cup and FA Cup, and another assault on the JPT.

At the end of the day, the cup runs help balance the books...along with a promotion season.

Posted by someone on Twitter, but just look at that squad depth! Can make two good starting XI's out of that!
