See Mad Dog commentating post game. What do we think would have happened to us if Martin Allen took over instead of Malpas, remember him, Nijholt and a few others declared interest at the time when we were looking for a manager.

I think we would still have finished mid-table in 2007-08, then Allen would have pissed everyone off, fallen out with the Board and been sacked part way through the next season, leaving us in a much worse position than when he had taken over.  Who knows what the next appointment would have been and how history would have then played out.

You are probably right chap, could have had Luc Nijholt as well I suppose, every time we have been looking for a manager he throws his hat into the ring! May have to Wiki him.

Good to hear.

Who should I back for the Champo Leago.

Chelsea have some nice odds. Though I can't see that happening.

Bayern Munich were smashed 5-2 by the mighty Borussia Dortmund in the German Cup Final the other day. It's not going to be as straight forward as people seem to think!

Bodin on the bench for Crewe again, game about to start. Thinking Crewe will edge this.

Cheering on Southend tonight. Nothing against Crewe, but Southend is a lot closer for me next season!

Just randomly found a pound in my Coral account so put it on Neil Harris to score first.
Only find then find out he's not in the starting line up.

Bollocks.

Edit: Probably not the best choice of words

I want Crewe to win.

Benyon, although joining us at a bad time, bailed pretty fecking quickly and therefore is on 'ze list'.

What a strike by Leitch-Smith!

I wonder how those Southend fans who were uploading pics of the L2 table in twitter after 10 games are feeling now? Cheesy

It was Swindon's job to take them down a peg this season, put them in their place and all that.

Still, two goals at home is not impossible.
