hmm, well ive just seen announce on bbc that there wil NOT be any strikes over easter weekend

Good news, maybe the panic will stop.

Bit slow of the BBC given the lazy bastards tanker drivers had to give 7 days strike action notice, and given they aren't even talking to the Government until Monday.

Bit slow of the BBC given that lazy bastards who earn far more than soldiers who are hard working and carry highly dangerous equipment and may occasionally die tanker drivers had to give 7 days strike action notice, and given they aren't even talking to the Government until Monday.

I had to attend the kids music festival at the Oasis last night so I filled up (because I was on empty, not panicking) at the Shell garage on Gt Western Way - not many queues and cheap prices!

They are far from lazy, their earnings compared to other jobs is irrelivant, and truck drivers occasionally die doing their job too.

Went past Tesco at 11-30 this morning, well tried to get past, cars queuing both ways down Ocotal Way, probably not all getting fuel, some probably trying to get into the shop for the weekly stock-up.  Small queue on Great Western Way at the ex-Shell garage  but the garage (Esso) in Cheney Manor was closed, sold out!!

They are being used as a political pawn by Cameron and co to deflect some of the crap aimed at them from the granny tax, £250,000 fund-raising sleaze dinners, the pasty tax etc.  Also, the tanker drivers have to go through a lot more rigorous training than the ordinary lorry driver, ADR and all that!

That is the figure quoted, but it is not an 8-5 job, and they do have to do 11 hour days apparently.  Well rewarded yes, but if that tanker catches fire I might just fuck off as well!!

Just been down to Greenbridge, the Esso on Dorcan way appears to have no fuel and the BP on Gypsy Lane is out as well - the price at Gypsy Lane was advertised as 146.9p per litre, Tesco round the corner was 137.9p.  There are some robbing cunts in Gypsy Lane.
