What was the line up?

Listened to highlights on southern counties radio but they were very biased.

It was a good day out. Nice to meet a few TEFers. Mex is ace - FACT.

Hard to judge how Town will fair in the league this year, Crawley were very well organised.

I'd give you a post-match analysis, but drinking since 6am means my head doesn't work properly.

I'm sure Sonic/Whits will do the honours when they get home.

right have now finished my dinner can write some more.

started with 442 but that only lasted 10 minutes, the penalty was a total cock up, o hanlon left it and ifil shoulder barged the player. we were wide open at the back with crawley frequently getting in down their right hand side. smith looked out of his depth.

we changed to 352 and smith moved into the middle of the park, our main problem was imho smithpook and wells just didnt get or want the ball, we had resorted to hoof ball again with ifil being the main culprit.  jerel looked well out of match practice.

caton looked useful on the left and it was his great cross in which cureton lethally finished, good goal.

second half and no changes. then pook with possibly his first touch scored a screamer. subs were made colmyn platt on for o hanlon nicolau on for roberts fallon on for smith. then a cureton from a tight angle , then we conceded form a corner a goal we should have cleared.
another screamer from pook who then got subbed for shakes.
game sort of fizzled out.

we looked ropey and out of practice apart from  a 20 minute spell in second half, crawley were a good passing team and john robinson[ex charlton, wales] controlled a lot of the match.

there number 15 looked like quasi modo and we let him know with spencers crew singing chin  chinery chin chinery chin chin cheroo Soapy Tit Wank

Good crowd? Sounds like our defense is really abysmal. We need a decent experienced centre back.

Not liking the hoofs. We know what the teams capable of when we get it down and play.

I don't think so. He was warming up at half time though.

Enjoyable day out, the game itself wasn't up to much though, our midfield was non-existant, Ifil made some very silly mistakes, Bulman didn't look anywhere near good enough for professional football and it was nigh on impossible to figure out what positions people were playing in.

On a more positive note, Pook took both his goals very well and so did Cureton. Caton looked very good in the first half and Nicolau impressed me when he came on, in the last 20 minutes or so we played the ball on the ground and created a few more chances using width and playing the ball through to the front men.

The abuse being thrown at the Crawley players was fucking class Cool Good to meet Sussex, JMH, Mex, Spencer and Walrus as well.
