Watkins, though, has been pleasantly surprised there was little change in that aspect, and is hopeful the club can push on financially when back in League One.
“It was perhaps my own paucity of time that made things stall a little bit,” he added.
“You do reel a little bit after relegation and worry about how revenues will hold up, but the revenues and everything else regarding the club have held up remarkably well while we have been in League Two.
Sounds like we have definately overspent and we're probably going to go bust very soon, seems other club's fans were right!
