Don't want to tempt fate but Wes has cut out the gifts that were so regular when Lucas and Smith followed up one or two good performances with a couple more "drop me" bloopers.  Think Wes gives confidence to the defenders who don't have to second guess the keeper so much and can therefore concentrate on doing their jobs.

Fair play to Phil Smith - one of the best understudies we have ever had and who will forget Charlton away or, had we won the Paintpot, Dons at home.  A great club servant.

Would I be right in saying Wes will break his on record if he keeps a clean sheet against Vale next week?  Hmmm

I think you're forgetting the two goals he conceded on Tuesday.

Sorry I meant for home games - I think it's currently on the record of 7 in a row at home

We've had 8 straight clean sheets at home in the league since Shrewsbury

Barnet JPT was one of those - so 7 in the league which was what he equalled last time - only conceded 1 in the league at home since he joined, absolutely fantastic IMO

Without wishing to be pedantic

Accrington, Burton, Daggers, Cheltenham, Torquay, Rovers, Northampton and Plymouth makes 8 straight in the league at home.

Agree with your main point though, his record since he joined is incredible.
