I think as soon as Coventry announce a striker signing today, which they are expected to do, we'll announce McDonald.

That could be a great coup if true, though sky suggests there are no plans for coventry to offload him...

Doubts about his pedigree above this level, due to lack of technical ability

For those reasons I'm not too fussed. If he decides to stay, good. If he goes, fine. We could replace him with someone better, the fee is important in that respect.

I'm not massive on this rivalry thing. I'd obviously rather we sold him to Bournemouth or Luton or someone, but I'm not going to throw my toys out of the pram if you've met our valuation. It would make the March derby (even more) fucking tasty, he might get killed on the pitch or something.
