Well those highlights didn't last long?

Didn't even show the Caddis penalty shout or Ritchie's miss from close range.

Didn't show the Ritchie chance but otherwise a pretty good piece on us.

To be fair they do have another 25+ matches to get through.

In fairness, they've got too much to cover for extensive highlights.

Nice words from Strachan too.

We're on ITV right now.

Was rather brief! Was expecting much more into detail.

I think Ritchie's shot may have been going in (the offside goal by Benson). It was seriously directed at the inside post..

We deserved it - all their tippy tappy stuff is a waste of time if they never shoot.

Bring on Manure away next!

Yeah, shame that - I was looking forward to seeing both of those incidents again. I thought at the time that it was a deffo pen and it would've been interesting to see it again.

Just replayed the coverage again (Sky+) and yes Benson was offside but look at McManaman when the penalty is taken. He steps into the box before the ball is played - ENCROACHMENT.
Missed it first time sat in the DR stand and after they scored the atmosphere was a bit weird - thought it had been saved and the ball cleared only to see the Wigan players celebrating - thought they had all put a bet on a missed pen with betfair Grin

There's no way you can say Benson was 'miles' offside, yes he was a fraction offside but miles is stretching it a bit. I can see why the lino didn't give it, touch and go decision.

As a Scotland supporter I'm disappointed Maloney didn't have more success against a divvie 4 side.

ok not miles but was clearly offside if it was the other way round we would be moaning about it
