Yep - Richard finally retired at the start of the summer, and trade was so bad he couldn't sell it on as a business.

Ducks newsagents in Devizes (more or less opposite Tesco's) keeps cigars/pipes etc.

The Newsagents next to the old Tobacco shop In Devizes took quite a bit of the tobacco from Richard and sells it next door Smiley

I remember it now. It used to be on the right hand side of an old red brick building with steps leading up to it which in turn was at the end of the Riflemans pub. Never smoked myself but I remember going in there with my old chap and the smell was lovely. Sadly the smell of burning tobacco is vile but hey ho.

There's a cigar shop in Bath just down a side road from Bath Abbey.  Other than that you could try http://www.simplycigars.co.uk - good online source that I've found...
also get the cigars I like from there. Think it's called tranters or something like that, someone mentioned it on here earlier. Great little cafe almost opposit, down the steps. A cigar and a coffee is better than dodging the big issue sellers down the main street.

Rustle, there is a shop in Fleet Street that sells loose tobacco, snuff etc.  Jobanputra I think it is called, used to call in to get my papers occasionally.  Jo is a decent guy and may be able to help you.

Cheers Ronnie.

Might be wrong, but Rustle coud be on about the newsagents which used to sell cigars-lighters etc which shut not so long ago?
If so it aint there like the one Reg mentions

That might of been the one i am thinking of Arriba as im sure it was still about after the 70s.
