I always liked Timlin, I think he was very underated during his time at Swindon.

I have no issue with Timlin, never quite managed to reach top gear at Swindon - something he obviously manages at Southend week-in, week out.
Ferry and Smith are fab as our first choice midfield pairing, but if we had Timlin as understudy I'd be quite happy.

I do believe we need another attacking minded central midfielder, the only other one we have is McCormack.
