Wasn't thrilled by the start of series 2 of White Gold but it got better as it went on. Can just see series 3 (if there is one) being White Gold but with a tinge of Benidorm to it.
Also been watching Fleabag which is fucking brilliant.

Started watching the umbrella academy on Netflix.
Its ok, but from the first 2 episodes its too similar to Heroes in my opinion
I watched and really liked it. Probably helped that I expected it to be shit and no one had recommended it though.

accidently catching the last 5 minutes of Warren ( ) before Partridge I mentioned earlier in the thread that my mate is one of the co-writers. Haven’t seen him in person since it first aired so i’ve still working on my “it’s really good” face

That's going to take some work.

I take it the writing/acting in Line of Duty improves as it progresses as 3 episodes into series one currently and it’s really not that impressive. Will stick with it for a bit longer though.

Series 1 is probably the worst of the lot. Definitely stick with it.

Completely agree, gets better with each series IMO. This current one is shaping up to be the best

I see Brexit has been renewed for another series Not sure about it, the story lines have got evermore ridiculous, unbelievable and frankly embarrassing!

Even if their names are a bit of a Pythonesque piss-take of Tory stereotypes: Gove, Leadsom, Rees-Mogg and François. Yeah, right, those are credible aren't they.

Halfway through Ricky Gervais’ new offering After Life.
Really superb stuff, goes from belly aching laughs to awful side of grief in a second
Just finished episode 4.. excellent stuff.
