Anyone losing their job is sad but, in this instance, .........

Hopefully Robinson gets the sack at Oxford and he replaces him😀

Great Twitter response to the clubs official tweet of the news:

Can someone ask him if my husband can have his Gillingham merchandise especially his bench coat as the Gills shop don’t do his size but Steve’s would deffo fit him? All the best to them both x

I wonder at what point they'll realise that maybe keeping Big Dunc on everytime they get a new manager could be half the problem

Good point as he's been there for years.

I’d imagine that Rooney will be favourite to leave the basket case that is Derby and work with Big Dunc.

That's the worse thing imo that he could do. He has a great coaching set up at Derby. Everton are a basket case. What they should be doing ideally is trying to get someone like Potter but making it absolutely clear to their fans that it's a project. Problem is that their fans are just so demanding

He's also doing a great job at Derby and may want to see if he can complete the great escape or even stay on next season.

Rooney would be mad to go to Everton now.
No hope club currently and he’s got practically a free pass at Derby.

He must have one eye on the United job.

Agreed the United job maybe what he's looking at long term but not sure if he's ready at the end of this season as that would be a massive step up from the championship but nothing seems to faze him.

It's not like failing at another Premier League club is a barrier to getting the United job these days, is it...
