Might have missed it in the Steven Gerrard furore but Keith Hill has rocked up at Scunthorpe. Think his reputation has been on the wane in recent years but looks a decent appointment for them.

He will be a decent appointment for them and probably change their fortunes but the club is broken at the moment, he lost some credit for taking over another broken side in Bolton under awful circumstances for him and then he fell out hugely with the Tranmere board and fans despite having a 50% win ratio in his 1 season there, leaving before the play offs he managed them to after a huge rift.

This did make me laugh re Gerrard.

He's not daft, why would he go to a team that is going to be relegated, he needs to prove himself if he wants another big job, and relegation on his CV wont help

Dean Smith to Norwich, which seems a pretty odd one for both parties.

I don't think hes a bad manager and lets face it he would be a success if he keeps Norwich up, its a no lose situation for both sides really as Norwich are not expected to stay up.

Smith doesn't have the ego of Lampard and the unwillingness to have a relegation on his CV.

Norwich will give him some funds for players in January but he won't ask for many million as Lampard probably would have.

Makes good sense to me.

One of my mates who is a Norwich fan is pretty happy with the appointment. He said he would rather have Smith then Gerrard in charge.

I dunno, experience of getting teams out the championship and getting them to stay in the Prem.
Exactly what Norwich need.

Now obviously Norwich don’t have a talisman like Grealish…

Carrick in temp charge.
From what I saw on Twitter most United fans wants OGS, Carrick, Phelan & McKenna all out.

No idea who they’ll go for next. I guess Zidane, any sooner and they could have got Conte
