He's the obvious choice and being out of work should make it happen quickly.

Zidane is said to be learning English so he might be up for it.
If not, then they might have a go at prising Brendan Rodgers away from Leicester. That would cost a fair bit I 'd imagine.
Could then be the route back into league football for son Anton.
A midfield partnership with Fred would be a dream team pairing.

Looking at Maguire yesterday I think Anton would do a better job 😀

Unconvinced.
He won a lot with a cracking Madrid team.

How much of that was him? How much was the players?

In all fairness, they were worse without him.

Every seen a leaving interview with a sacked manager on official club media? I know the majority hate United on here but still very classy. it didn't work out accepted by all parties move on nicely.

It was a bit like Jimmy Quinn leaving here. Noone wanted to forget his contribution on the pitch even though the results as manager weren't what we hoped for

Solskjaer was a class footballer and Man Utd legend. As a fan, if you don't want someone like that to do well, you ain't a fan!

Yes spot on and any true United fan will appreceite what he done for them both as a player and a manager and it was class seeing fans showing their gratitude at the training ground.

That’s why I’m not convinced Zidane is the man for the job, they need a complete rebuild at CB and Centre Mid. At Madrid Zidane did a great job maximising the ability of an already great team, he basically had to keep a squad of superstars happy with probably minimum day to day coaching required, he did that perfectly

Not saying he couldn’t job but it’s a totally different situation to Madrid.

Conte would have been perfect had they pulled the trigger a few weeks earlier
