Aaaaha, New Seasons eve (if you don't count the fact some northern monkeys are playing later).
My New Seasons resolution: Try not to suffer football tourettes.
Bring it on. 3pm tomorrow seems ages away...hurry up!

Sounds like you may be on the same train as a few of us London lot BO. Coach B if you're on the 12.00, we'll be in the middle of 500 Millwall fans!
I'm on the 10.50 from Clapham Junction changing at Reading. Which train are you referring to? Millwall fans, excellent!

we've been to Aberdeen, we hate the Hibs, they make us spew up, so make some noise, the gorgie boys, for Hearts in Europe.

The last game I saw was in the 06/07season but back at the moment and will watch the game tomorrow. I'm really excited to see the game as it's probably going to be another couple of years before I get the chance to make it back again.

My New Seasons resolution: Try not to suffer football tourettes.
Thats mine as well, I turned into some kind of yob whose main vocab was limited to the F and C word last year. Sitting in the Arkells stand it doesn't go down as well as it might in noisier places of the stadium! The night before we started last season I didn't sleep a wink, but this year although being excited I really dont know what to expect tomorrow so feel more nervous than anything else. I missed one home game last season which was Sheff Wed and never made it too many away games, so because of that I haven't seen Town win live now since the 14th November. (Im not counting the Charlton 4-2 game which is still saved on my sky plus box) Please let that 9 month wait end tomorrow!

Haha! Did look at that train but I have a massive suitcase and the woman lives in Battersea so would have been a pain in the hole to get to Paddington and Clapham Junction is just down the road!

Drag her along. If she can survive an afternoon of Div Four football and the slowest, stoppiest train journey on the planet, you'll know she's one to hang on to.

It feels strange getting back to the old routines of Saturday matches. I've made good use of the close season with jobs around the house and garden. Tomorrow it's back to normality, a good hours walk with our springer spaniel in the morning before setting off to football. A couple of pints and a bite to eat whilst meeting up with fellow town supporters, putting the football world to right and then waiting for the 1st whistle of the season at 3 pm !

I still reckon you may pick ours up at reading, as it gets in to Swindon at 12,58 i think.

Just heard the sound system being tested for the first time in months. Certainly brings back memories and helps build that excitement
