There's a pic of it on the STFC Facebook from the 8th July and it looks pretty good there.

Not sure if the direct link will work: http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/photo.php?fbid=225883524118167&set=a.155835867789600.33546.155824257790761&type=1&theater

I was speaking to the guys in the ticket office a couple of weeks ago, they said the pitch was fucked but I think they've fixed it now.

Can't understand why the pitch would be bad after all the shite on it last season.

Don't think it was fucked, they were just reseeding it which made it look bad for a while.

4 weeks ago there was quite a bit of worry regarding the pitch as the seeding didnt go as planned. The pitch has a few areas where it was just bare. Marcus has been working to re-seed these patches and they are currently under cover and extra fertiliser applied. Most of the pitch looks great though. It won't be perfect for next weekend but should be there for the Reading game.

Was up at the Wandsbourgh training ground most of the day watching U16's trials. The training pitches were in excellent condition. As I arrived at around 12.30 pm Paolo was just driving out with a car load. The whole squad were back training before 2.30 pm for the afternoon session which was mostly short games. Didn't see Connell there though but perhaps he was elsewhere having his medical. It was nice to see them putting in the hard work on a Saturday considering they have only just arrived back from Italy. Paolo was very vocal and was joining in most of what I saw.

WANDSBROUGH thats a new one, the weather wasnt ideal for seeding but with a watering system on place shouldnt be any excuses.

Slight deviation, from pitch to ground! It's all gone quiet on the stadium plans, does anyone know anything as to why??

Are the board wanting us out of L2 before they even consider completing the stadium plans?

Yes.

Watkins and Wray said getting out of this league is the number 1 priority.

No point having a 20,000 seater stadium in league 2.
