Connell was not playing in the pre-season games in Italy. Probably because he was a Grimsby player at the time, and still is until he signs for us! |

Ive just asked Rose if he failed his medical and got this reply.

I know it's only words but he comes across really well on twitter. Sounds like he's genuinely honoured to be playing for us and seems to be liked by the fans of his previous clubs.

From his Twitter he seem's genuinely up for taking this chance at league football. Looking forward to watching him.
All I want to see now is a gnarly target man that looks a bit like Deperate Dan to play alongside him/De Vita and I'll be fairly confident for next term.
