They have a point in some respects, that they appear to be high risk signings with little proven English lower league experience.
What they fail to see is that it works the other way too. That this bunch may turn out to be utterly brilliance, a play to a much higher standard than league 2. Nobody knows really.
One thing I am sure about is that Di canio won't let them out on to the pitch feeling sorry for themselves on a cold winters night. I've heard enough and seen enough in our transfer dealings to know he won't stand for < 100% in 100% of the games. Do it his way of see you later.

This site appears to be suggesting you can watch any L2 match next year. That can't be right, anyone know?

Let other fans get on with it. I really enjoyed being written off in 09/10 and rubbing it back in their faces everytime we jumped further up the table. At the end of the day it's only others opinions.

The contention we've signed a pile of dung is wholly logical from an impartial viewpoint.....only some solid results will see this view consigned to the dustbin of history

"But yes, I'm sure we'll rough 'em up, Comazzi, Lanzano and Kerrouche will have nightmares about facing tough guys like Griff, McCombe and Clayton Mac." Clearly they haven't seen Comazzi and are imagining him as some sort of long hair and alice band Italian...

Even from the view of a Town fan, it is all a bit of a risky unknown quantity, so i don't blame opposition fans arriving at this conclusion

Proper alice band wearing fairy, I mean just look at him!! He'll be starring in a Head & shoulders advert alongside David Ginola next... http://fraserdigbyswashbag.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/albertocomazzi_2008_001.jpg

Crewe will be a tough game. A scoreless draw would be my bet.

Going on last nights game, the first thing Vin Diesel did after he came on at half time was mash a SS defender and send him on his way on a stretcher! Commazi was dishing it out in the first half, and Smith and De Vita would have been booked numerous times if it were a league match.
I don't think there will be too many worries about players getting stuck in

I know pre season games don't mean much other than getting players match fit, but Crewe beat Wolves t'other night. This could possibly the first game in Football League history, where opposition managers were both born in Italy.
