Is it me or has deleting of accounts accelerated since the 'ignore' button was introduced?

I don't remember anyone deleting their account prior to the rows over PdC.

Time was, if anyone was a bit miffed, they would just have a holiday from posting.

I've just realised there is an option called "logout"

These sensitive souls can't have noticed it

I did! I disappared for a few minutes but I mostly had stuff to do that week (compering at a comedy open-mic night for the first time) so had to work on that.

Now I am Costanza. My next incarnation? Who knows!

Fuck me, another dummy spit.

I can understand people get pissed off time to time, not sure what deleting the account achieves. Its exactly the same as just logging out and not posting anything - read only.

Would imagine there is more to it with arriba. His boy is coming through the ranks etc so has to be a bit careful of getting too involved no doubt.

Nice bloke arriba and certainly not one who would of deleted it due to a few random disagreements

At least we don't have to hear about his past footballing exploits. Big yawn.

Would have been nice for him to say goodbye if that were true. I quite liked his posts even if I didn't always see his point of view.

Unfortunately the sudden deletion seems more of a hissy fit. Come back Arriba and say goodbye, then delete your account again Wink

Isn't his lad part of the set up at Reading, though - or is that someone else?

Shame to see him go.  But as Sam says...expect he'll do a Ben and come back at some point.  (Hope so, anyway.)  We're getting far more new posters these days than we used to...so natural turnover to an extent.
