I signed up as Ardiles on MOS (and possibly the Fanny Forum, can't remember) in the late 1990s, I think? Couldn't put a precise date on it, but it seems a long time ago. Signed up as Ardiles to the Adver forum some time later, but never posted there regularly. Moved here in 2006 (according to my profile), and slowly lost interest in MOS, which was increasingly dominated by talk of Subway sandwiches and Riddel's prediliction for stroking goats. Also joined theunofficialmikediamandisfanclub.com (now defunct) at around the same time.

Didn't Blackpool sell his hotel and move to Old Town. I could be wrong, it's happened before.
Yes Mate you are correct. Blackpool Red now back living in Swindon and has a season ticket in the DR Stand. As for the hotel had a few great weekends up there with the old boy and the bar stayed open all night. Anyway old Blackpool got caught in bed with a member of a hen night one Sunday Morning by his Mrs and that started the decline of Blackpool Towers. I blamed the "Stags head" falling off the wall on his head one night. Sadly Mr & Mrs Blackpool split up and now he is living in Swindon with another Girl who worked in the hotel at the time !! Of the Hotel no more. BR woke up one Morning and the roof had fucking blown off down the Street. Top Bloke Blackpool been mates since kids and have hundreds of great stories about him. Remember him swimming the width of a canal once on the way back from Chesterfield. This happened to be in the garden of a pub and full of people. |

I now play football on sundays with the poster formally known as 'give us an S' he stopped posting a while ago though....and probably doesnt remember the fact we ever even met before because it was on the mini bus trip to Hereford away (most boring game ever) and he was fucking battered and then some.
I'm sure I've played football against Jimmy Cider within the last couple of years, cant for the life of me think what team it was though.
