Hmmmm...well if his name is Roberto or Robert and it's not Di Matteo, I'm fucked if I know who it could be. It's not going to be Martinez and as Lumps quite forcefully (and quite rightly) pointed out, Robbie Savage is all set up for a media career having already done a lot of work for ESPN and BBC TV and radio.
Fowler?

He's heard about a good tapas bar in Old Town...
Can rule out the McCanns on that basis.

On the basis that we seem to have been linked with every Ipswich manager from the last few years, what about Roy Keane.
Not that I would want him

Hope Powell. Our sponsors would love all the press coverage we'd get, guaranteed a tv game or two as well.

Robbie Fowler If it was him I really would not know what to think about it I think I'd be apprehensive. I'd certainly rather have anyone in the betting apart from Rix, Magilton, Money and Taylor.

For some reason I would prefer Pires to Fowler. Don't know why really. I guess I'm not that keen on having another scouser in charge.

Pires?
That wouldn't be Reg's hint because he said it was a name not mentioned and he was mentioned by Herthab well over a week ago. Robert Pires is coming to the end of his playing career.
You heard it here first.
