Head says Burly
Heart says Il Dux
It's either Dux (Latin) or Il Duce (Italian). Honestly, these noobie-neos!

It absolutely has to be Burley for me. Head and shoulders above the rest.

How the fuck is there any debate on this?
If Burley is actually a candidate the board would be absolutely fucking mental to appoint any of the other shite on that shortlist.
Reg's gut can fuck off as it clearly doesn't have a clue what it's on about. His career may not have been too fantastic for the last couple of years, but he spent most of it managing Scotland at possibly the lowest point of their international history.
The only club where he wasn't much more successful in terms of results than any manager we've had in 15 years, is Crystal Palace, which was on it's fucking arse when he was there.
Pay him what it takes for fuck sake!

Is this a definitive shortlist?
Burley would definitely edge it for me although I'd be happy with Money.

Premier League manager of the year to (possible) Swindon Town manager in 10 years. Poor guy.

I'm glad you didn't sulk off and not come back last night. Best post in the thread.

In fact, the only two I definitely wouldn't want to get the job are Rix and Magilton. I could cope with di Canio unless he started saluting the Arkells.

yep agree.burley and trollope are the 2 that stand out.
As a matter of interest, why does Trollope stand out ahead of Richard Money?

Well then you're wrong too. Let's hope the board are better informed than you and Reg's gastric system
