Took my lad today, I was absolutely delighted when at half time he kicked off and wanted to go home, of course I had to go with him.  Smiley

Lets hope the conversation went: "You don't have the job permanently, but as we're pretty much down already you have the choice of resigning now or managing the side for the remaining three games"

And not:

"12 players out of contract in the summer, as we're down already you can start telling the deadwood their contracts aren't being renewed and look at who you want to rebuild the squad"

Logic suggests the first option but it's been anything but a logical season.

For preferring to watch my kid over that shower of shite? Fucking sensible I call it.

Definitely the right decision made Paul, yesterday became the lowest of the low if that's possible.  How did your son get on?

Hart was always a disaster waiting to happen he has an awful win ratio and has absolutely no charisma , he should do the right and honourable thing and walk away letting Bodin takeover and blood some youngsters for the last 3 games. I honestly believe we would have been better keeping Wilson until the end of the season I am pretty sure we would not have finished rock bottom.

I've just made the mistake of listening to Hart's interview.  What a fucking embarassment... especially the last bit about guessing about him wanting to stay.

Go now you stupid old cunt.

I said at the time that getting rid of Wilson wasnt going to solve the problem. Obviously those who wanted Wilson out didnt want Hart in, but the most popular choice would have been Gary Johnson and he hasnt managed to turn things around at Northampton in a similar space of time.

I have no doubt whatsoever that we'd have done better under Wilson than we have under Hart. Whether that would have been enough to keep us up is another matter but we've had enough winnable games at home against shit teams that even a slightly more attacking approach could have made the difference.

Harts position is completely untenable now. I cant even see the point of him continuing as far as Monday. In his "interview" after the game he slagged off the fans, admitted to having "no idea" why we collapsed at the end of the game, and refused to accept responsibility for the results under his management. All three are sackable offences in my book and Im normally very reluctant to see managers sacked.

Anyone who says Wilson should have stayed on is clearly doing so with massive hindsight

I think it's fair to say though that's he was probably told he's been axed before the interview hence why he didn't seem to give a shit.

I would agree with this, but it seems rather strange as to why he would then have come out and done an interview?  Surely he would have been better giving it a miss altogether or sending out McParland?

Makes it a bit obvious then though doesn't it? Fitton could have told him to still conduct his interview. After all the fans wanted answers. Not that they got them.
