Who the fuck is going to get more than five or six matches with indifferent results before they get some stick too?
The words "Danny" and "Wilson" spring to mind

Whatever happens, word of our treatment of Hart will go around the football management circles like shit off a stick tonight. Don't be surprised to see one or two hasty rejections from otherwise fairly decent managent candidates.
What treatment? Give a man a job? and pay him (probably rather handsomely) But oh, don't go to Swindon because some people might say some bad things.

Hart sounded punch drunk during one of the most bizarre post match STFC interviews I've ever heard. I didn't hear what was said during the row by the dugouts from where I was sat, but I could see him turned round looking gobsmacked at the abuse he was getting.
I appreciate that we've all put up with a shite season and that no one predicted getting relegated in their wildest dreams. Harts' tactics seem to be negative and have been proved not to get results with this bunch of players.
That said, the bloke has tried to polish the preverbial turd for us. Whatever is, or has been wrong with our players this season, it is clearly still festering.
I think it's fucking wrong to turn on him like a bunch of pack animals. Hurling abuse at him during the match made our fans look cheap, parochial, brainless retards - which many obviously are in abundance.
As he said in his interview, the first 33 matches of this season seem to have been swept under the carpet.
Whatever damage that has been to our squad, isn't Paul Harts fault. Relegation Isn't Paul Harts fault. Conceding two stupid fucking goals due to schoolboy errors from our resident overpaid clown of a fucking goalkeeper, isn't Paul Harts fault.
Yep, he had the chance to try and save us and had he done so, he'd almost certainly of got the job. He couldn't do it though and after todays episode, he'll be off to pastures new.
Blaming him for this season is cuntish, short sighted and fucking juvenile.
Just a thought; how long will any new manager get to meet with the approval of the new self-appointed braying retards? How long before he gets abused for not doing things as they think he should?
Fuck me, Paul Trollope has already been pilloried as being a wanker! Who the fuck is going to get more than five or six matches with indifferent results before they get some stick too?

Never thought I'd be ashamed to be a town fan, but tonight I'm fucking raging about this.
Valid points but fans want to see a team who look certs for relegation going for it. Last week the 433 comment was an insult. We are not a team who can sit back with a 1-0 win and today was enough. The fans get slated for being quiet and non passionate well sadly the ugly negative side of passion for a whole season spilled over. By the way I am not one for shouting for a Managers head during a game but having spent £'s this season and once again not missing a home game (130 mile round trip) I am totally pissed off with watching crap negative football that bores me to tears. The Board need to take criticism and make a statement. The problems are repairable but a better profile Manager than Paul Hart will probably be required. Town fans are angry and rightly so. Play off finalists to bottom of the League. Once our fans have it in for a Manager end of. Many will never warm to Hart sadly therefore he must go and I won't be unhappy.

I blame Hart for today that's for sure. The players were up for it and playing well until he fucked around for it. For me a decent manager would have come out after the game and admitted he'd made mistakes. Hart was just a cunt about it all.
I'm not blaming him for our relegation. That blame has to go partly to Wilson for building such a shite squad, Fitton for sticking his nose in and selling our best players as well as not sacking Wilson soon enough and finally but by no means least the players for generally being a bunch of underperforming wankers for much of the season.
Maybe some of the personal abuse in the Arkells directed at Hart was out of order. I accept that. But chanting for him to be sacked imo just shows Fitton exactly what many Town fans are feeling right now. It needed to be done and today was finally the day that the fans made their feelings clear.

Every club has a dickhead faction though...and you can't generalise about them. On the whole, our fanbase has been a model of restraint this season. Probably too restrained, if we're honest.
When you add together Division 3 + bottom place + general ineptitude + lack of bollocks/fight, this season has been one of the very worst in our 130+ year history. The fact that I can say that without fear of exaggeration scares the shit out of me, and the fact that it happened the season after the relative success of 2009/10 makes the whole thing even harder to take in. So is it really surprising that a few brain donors have chosen vent their frustrations by choosing the wrong target? No, it isn't.
Other clubs would have seen a lot more in the way of vitriol following a season like this. What happened today wasn't clever or pretty. But we're Swindon, not Leeds or Millwall. This isn't going to make the headlines for long.

There's no way that any self respecting would-be Town manager would bat an eyelid at what went on today and there is no chance it would put them off applying. Given the circumstances (play off finalists last season, bottom this season, 17 games without a win, laughably negative tactics) What happened today would have happened anywhere and would have been a lost worse at a lot of clubs.

I'm not holding Hart responsible for us going down, but he has failed to achieve anything positive and has done sobwith a shockingly poor attitude. Wilson was sacked too late, but given what Hart has done for us, I'm confident we'd have gone down even if he'd been appointed before Xmas. He's been negative and largely clueless, and hasn't inspired any fight or passion in our frankly appalling squad.

Wilson takes alot of the blame BUT he had enough games to stay up even with the shit we have. I have run Salisbury and District sides......even i would of got us at least two wins. its been coming for a long time. I dunno if you went to Plymouth and Exeter away but i did....total negative fuck ups...no wonder Grella (our best player) wanted to fuck off. Negative formations, negative tactics and negative substitutions and one win, thats why he got it in the ear ole today. Then he insults us by telling us he played three up front last week......fuck off....yes, we are blindly loyal but we aint fucking stupid! Fitton is lucky that he saved us from the shit pan as im sure he would of go some too if not. Sad times....remember it was the Arkells who dished it out...not the TE.

Deltaincline - so you think managers will be afraid to come here because of Paul Hart's experience and blame Wilson
Don't remember Danny having such a hard time - he was criticized heavily but treated very fairly by fans and board alike I think that would make STFC an attractive proposition
If potential managers are negative like PH then I bloody well hope they will be put off

No, I dont think managers will be afraid to come here. They are paid £150K + to take shit like that and most are pretty thick skinned. I think a few higher profile candidates might choose another club over us if they have a choice though. And on the subject of so-called negativity, how many of you fuckers moaned when we beat Brentford with the same set up? There is a fine line between making a team hard to beat and being negative. I'm not a Paul Hart apologist. Yeah we've been fucking boring under him and results have been indifferent. Easy to say with hindsight. I just think abusing him as if he's the sole architect of this seasons capitulation is naaive and cheap. It makes me so fucking ashamed that we can do that to someone brought in to try and save our season. Agree with the point about today just finally boiling over though. Been a long haul for all of us.
