And you'd be happy with giving it a go and losing?

We're not gonna stay up by drawing every single game are we. Teams like Walsall are must win.

we dont have the players to give it a go.we have to make ourselves harder to beat, which is what hart is doing. the rest of the season is going to be ugly.might just work though

It won't work if the rest of the season is like saturday.
Walsall didn't even want to win. We should have gone 442 at half time and 433 if it was still 0-0 with 20 to go.
It was a must win game and it was there for the taking!

i think it's unlikely to work, but can see the logic in it. i didn't go saturday so cannot comment on the game itself.

I'd rather we went for it against teams that are not around us. We might need to win but we also cannot afford to give 3 points to the likes of Walsall.

I agree with that reasoning totally.

If you don't concede you can't lose. As disappointing as Sat was, a draw is much better than a loss. I agree 442, or 433 would've been better but imagine if we lost?!

Imagine if we won? Same thing really. Draw wasn't good enough for me.

I'm not sure even fB's imagination, could conceive of such wild unlikeliness.

But not losing is better imo. A win would've been nice, but if we lost then we'd be further adrift. It was his first game in charge, so lets not get on his back too soon!
It's funny though, a change of manager just proves that shit players are still shit.

Expensive mistake for Rovers. I was dreading getting Penney here when Wilson was appointed because I didnt think he had the credentials for the job.

A win wouldn't have been "nice" - wins are "nice" when you're midtable. When you're playing at home against one of the sides who's right in the shit with you at the start of a run of 3 such games (and the easiest of the 3), a win isn't nice, it's bloody vital.

It just goes to show that a new manager doesn't always result in a change of fortune. Still turned us over though Rovers' season has been just as pathetic as ours.
