I thought cheerleaders are supposed to be a bit of eye candy, Ours are so young I feel like if i stare too long the stewards will have me kicked out and my season ticket branded with a Nonce stamp.

What would people realistically like to see before the match? What's there to offer? I'd quite like to see 18+ year old cheerleaders prancing around, in next to nothing on, like they do at American Football games, but it's not going to happen, so what would people prefer? Nothing? I quite like the live singing at the start of the match, as the teams enter onto the pitch, mind. Nice touch, that.
I cringe at the Rockin' Robin 'Hakka' every fucking time.....So embarrassing. Silly cunt.

The rocking robin hakka is paedotastic.

You'd have thought they'd get the jailbait doing a different routine though. The same routine twice per game can't be entertaining for anyone watching. Unless you go by the name jayohaitchenn

So what we've ascertained then is that you're not all overly keen with Shaun's PA skills?  To be fair, I normally walk in to The City Ground at 2 minutes past kick-off, but there appears to be a trend at football grounds nowadays to have radio DJ's doing the PA stuff, you guys at Swindon do it, we do it at Forest, and I know West Ham do the same to name just one other, but the pre-match banter and entertainment is aimed really at families and kids do you not think?

You lot got me thinking though, I was at a Swindon game in roughly 1994, can't remember who it was against but McMahon was in charge and if memory serves me he, or another Swindon player got sent off in the first half, but all I remember is the PA guy at half-time saying something along the lines of "I've seen some bad decisions in my time but that one takes the piss", and it being all over the national sports pages the following day.

I didn't dream it did I?

Personally I couldn't give a shit, seems to do a reasonable job as best I can tell, but then I don't really listen to him. I don't think anyone else would care much either if we weren't all so thoroughly pissed off generally. Everything seems to grate at the moment

Following on from this the announcer at Bristol Rovers was also sacked for stating that he thought the referee was available for pantomime if anybody wanted an idiot!!

Was the Chief who got sent off wasnt it?

Let Rockin' Robin go around the stands, posing for photos and keeping the kids entertained. Let the players shake hands in the tunnel. Play 'right here, right now' at full fucking volume so you cant even here yourself talk in the stands, then let the players sprint out onto the pitch.

Pretty simple and I think it would get the crowd going alot more than the current set up.

He needs to stop the Red Army thing. He really does.
