I'm not renewing... I've lost the love (and no longer live local)

I fucking hated league 2 last time. I couldn't understand everyone going mental at that walsall game. Yes we got promoted but we should never have been there in the first place.

To be honest the main reason is I can't be arsed feeling crap anymore. Its a long way home especially when you have bern watching the shit we have had dished up.

Our relegation in 05-06 was well deserved.

We were promoted automatically at the first attempt. I thoroughly enjoyed those games at the end of that season (apart from Rovers).

Yes League 2 is a bit below our level. But only a bit. The likes of Leeds were 2 leagues below their level, but they got on with it.

In no way am I criticising you if you dont want to do the round trip. But I dont feel above over celebrating any promotion, League 2, conference. Any promotion is a good one.

I'll be renewing - the early bird price is still a good deal - I noticed at Crawley their ST's were over £300 for conference football.
The price after May is getting very expensive though, especially if its L2 next season; can't see getting many sales in after that date, particularly if we're relegated.
I agree the standard of L2 was poor last time we were down and it was only the fact that we were doing well that made it entertaining.
My worry is that relegation might well mean losing more of our better players and it does seem tougher to attract players the lower in the leagues you go, regardless of any reputation we might have for being a bigger club at that level.
So I'm not sure we'll be able to get the strength of team that we'd need to bounce right back.

The prices are great so agree with those sentiments, however as others have said, the product is not.  Why Fitton insists on persevering with Wilson as Manager I will never know.  In my eyes, many fans will not renew because of this and the board are going to have to look at their choice of decisions when they're down by a significant number of season ticket holders.

I am not renewing, but thats because I won't be living locally.  I can understand why others aren't too though - its hardly a thrilling prospect watching league 2 football managed by the same man that will have effectively got us relegated.

Oh, and just to add, I haven't been able to give my season ticket away this season for games I can't make and thats saying something!

attending football becomes a habit.once you break the habit it struggles to come back without something enticing you.
i lost the want to attend months ago,and aint been to a match since the turn of the year.i dont need a season ticket and still cant be arsed to go.the problems have been evident for ages, but i didn't think we'd sink to the level we have.the football on offer is fucking dire.

an afternoon infront of the tv watching the racing making small stake bets is much more enjoyable.as is a long walk with the dog,a round of golf or taking in a decent semi pro level match.

I couldn't give a fuck if the whole squad and managment / coaching staff go.  Which "better" players are you referring to as I'm struggling. I can think of some players that are less shit than the others but there are no longer any I'd keep.

The value of the STs this season was very good (worked out about 8 quid a game I think in the side stands?)

Am now in a position to get my first season ticket but if I wait until may it will barely work out cheaper than paying on the day if I miss even a couple of games.

Still undecided, but think I'll probably end up getting one.

Almost. But not quite. The "buy one get one free" coming up for Walsall, and also the lower prices for a couple of unattractive fixtures already during the season, have slightly devalued the ST - but not by much - I reckon the SAVING on buying an advance ticket was £8 a match, and £10 against paying on the day
What we need to know to be sure it will be the same next season is to know that advance ticket priced in L2 will be. Surely they cant charge £18 - 15 quid for league 2???

So they are still going to persist with this retarded club Red membership and making us buy a junior red membership to get an under 10's season ticket free. Last season my son got his under 10's season ticket for nothing but i still bought the membership which has offered him no benefits apart from a wanky pencil case.  So they can fuck off if they are expecting me to buy into that farce again, if they want me to renew then they should give him his season ticket for free its not like he is taking up wanted seats now is it when we can't even half fill the ground anymore  Suicide

You had to sign kids up for Junior reds to get the free tickets (season tickets or matchdays) this season too. Are you seriously complaining about getting a season ticket for 15 quid?

They can,they will...they have to.
Fact is at the moment you would struggle to get people in for nothing....fans will always turn up...the general public will not be inspired to take the family at the prices they charge on a one off basis.
Fact is for me there are to many matches in midweek these days....and this will stop me getting a season ticket next season, work commitments and the fact there is sometimes three home matches in 7 days turns it into a real struggle....financially as well.
For me the club have been brilliant with the pricing policy this season to be fair....though i do feel it has contributed to our failings on the pitch in that we just havn't replaced our big players with some of a similar vein.

Matchday prices are in the programme as £16 TE, £20 side stands. No mention of any advance ticket price, but will probably be same as this season on that basis
