UEFA have released the ticket prices for this years final at Wembley. To say that they are mind boggling would be an understatement. The Greed Is Good League is most definately here to stay,whilst the rest of football struggles. Ticket price categories open to the international general public are: Category 1 – £300; Category 2 – £225 (or £338 for a youth package comprising one adult and one child); Category 3 – £150; and Wheelchair £80. A total of 500 youth package tickets are being allocated to neutral fans worldwide.
The administrative fee will be £26 (including postal charges) for successful applicants inside Europe and £36 for the rest of the world. I suppose if fans are stupdi enough to pay for it then UEFA are stupid enough to charge for it. How the fuck can you have a £26 / £36 admin fee though? Do you get your ticket delivered with a free blow job?

A couple of years ago i was on holiday in Rome with my wife and got talking to the hotels concierge.
I jokingly asked him if he get us tickets for that nights game between Lazio and Real Madrid.To our
great surprise he did and the cost per ticket was 20 Euros.
A couple of months ago on the TV,there was an interview with some guys from Dover, who like to
make a couple of trips per season to watch Borussia Dortmund.They get a carload,to keep the
cost of petrol down,but the prices on the huge terrace at Dortmund can be as little as 15 Euros.
Some of the prices charged for football in continental Europe,can be very reasonable.

So, the cheapest ticket for the Champions League final is less than my Season Ticket? Fuck me.

Those ticket prices are a fucking rip off...and don't get me started on the admin fee. For £26/£36 I would expect it personally delivered by a model.

I'm sure I remember it being said that it was cheaper to buy a season ticket to PSG and get to every home game (by what means I forget) than it was to watch most premiership teams for a season. I could well have some crossed wires, but it sounds possible. |

That's crap, wouldn't you pay £150 for a ticket if town were in the final? It's UEFA who are to blame, the fans will always pay to see their team. |

Also from UEFA:
"Tickets for the Uefa women's Champions League final, which is being held at Fulham's Craven Cottage ground on 26 May, are £5.
Marchetti added: "We have different targets and objectives for the women's final."

When there's a World Cup one of FIFA's demands it that it's tax free.There has in the past been a row about the players involved in the CL Final having to pay tax.It wouldn't surprise me if UEFA have struck a similar tax deal with the host country, .It's estimated that this final will rake in 22 million quid in gate receipts. |
