Que us losing to Orient tonight, with Wilson getting sacked in the morning That would be quite ironic, the day he was appointed we played Orient away too.

People that think Wilson is a shit manager who got lucky last season want their heads examining if you ask me. No one disagrees that this season has been a huge disappointment and not up to the required standard - and Wilson takes his considerable portion of blame for that.
But overall his track record in the league is very good, and I appreciate the board's refreshing aversion to making a knee jerk decision and attempting to build through continuity.
In my opinion that will make for a much more successful club over the long run, even if it has led to a few really shit journeys home on a Saturday this season.

Shut up. When Danny Wilson was appointed I bet you were chuffed to bits.
¨ Chuffed to bits that we hired a manager just sacked by Hartlepool?? Yeah right...

and all that will do is rock the boat even more when currenrtly we need to support those that are in charge and the team to try and pull us away from the drop zone. once safe then tell the board you want change.
I fully agree. I'm just highlighting how people can get so passionately against a manager/the club and do nothing other than seemingly wishing for the club to fail so they can sit there and say "I told you so".

So what had you been hoping for when Danny joined us then?

[ANGRY RANT] Yep, that's probably the thing I hate most in football. Pessimist cunts who sit their whinging and whinging and being bitter as fuck and then acting smug when we lose or get scored against. Fucking cunts. Grow up and support your club rather than getting negative in the hope you can stoke your ego by being right about our misfortune. Do you actually support the club? I sat near a cock, who I think was a grounds man on Saturday. When Prutton came on all he did was talk about how terrible he is before the bloke had done anything. He then continued to talk in the most bitter tones about all kinds of annoying shit like he was some sort of voice of reason. He was a total cock. I put my stereo on so I didn't have to listen to his bile and then, even over my stereo, I could hear his gloating when they scored. He was smuggly sat back saying, "told you so, told ya!" to his mates. He was an absolute fucking dickhead and I had to leave then. [/ANGRY RANT]

Tbf I don't think our support has been that bad considering the predicament we're in. There's been some good attendances and okay, there's been some booing at the end of a few games recently, but that's hardly surprising given some of the shit we're had to sit through. I haven't heard any Wilson Out chants, irrelevant of how people might feel.

He's unable to repeat it this season as we lost key players from last seasons squad....We haven't replaced them, hence a poor season - Bad management/lack of judgement - call it what you like, but it's not down to luck or the lack of imo.
Edit: Just in case you pick up on it, i wouldn't say a player had the best season of their career last season. It's your opinion if you think so, of course
Wilson hasn't replaced them, that's Wilsons fault and Wilson fault alone. Maybe he should have stopped signing left backs and central midfielders and used the money more wisely instead. I'd say Paynter, Ward and Cuthbert all had the best seasons of their careers. Added to which Lucas, Douglas, Ferry, McGovern, Amankwaah, Sheehan were all a lot better last season than this. Last season was a perfect storm - it all came together at the same time, nothing to suggest Wilson was behind it. If he was, why hasn't he done it this season? Again, don't blame the players we've got as Wilson signed them all. I'd also argue we've got a better squad this season.

Without doubt it was a perfect appointment at the time and this was proven. At the time we were all mostly "well, okay" or "meh" but he kept us up. You'd probably suggest a former Swindon player with no experience

It's all about results isn't it.
Take Saturday as an example, if we hadn't conceded the goal to Rochdale & Benyon's late goal had been a winner there would have been far less Wilson Out comments & general doom & gloom afterwards.
Maybe it's Rose tinted spectacles time, but I'm sure that when I were a lad that we supported the team in games & sometimes booed them off at the end if they were really crap. Now it seems that the team get the bird as soon as it looks like we might lose the game.
But we didn't score a last minute winner. From the sound of it we played well against Bournemouth andv despite losing the fans were encouraged. Saturday we were shit and we only drew at home to another poor team.

Maybe not, but a crap manager who has one lucky season is still a crap manager.
But what does this have to do with Danny Wilson?
