Now the dust has settled I believe losing Austin has galvanised the club in quite a good way. I'm not sure why, maybe it's a distraction, but since he put in his request, the overall temperature of hatred and anger around the club has dropped and there's not so much "Wilson Out" and what not.

I personally feel about a million times more positive than I did a month or so ago and perhaps feel the adversity is going bring us together and be good for us.

I know what you mean but I think we need a win or at least a good draw (coming from behind) to sustain it. Otherwise I think everyone will be right back on Wilson's case again.

They've had weeks to get this sorted. The pressure is on now because the press say we got a huge fee for Charlie, so suddenly everyone is more expensive to Swindon. They should have had the replacement lined up. No sympathy at all.
For all we know they might already have two or three people they're talking to. Just look at the Misun deal - nobody knew about it but it had been going on for weeks.

I think they just need to get a replacement in, if I am honest we don't really have a goal scorer, and until we replace Austin we will be missing him.  But we shall see what happenns in today's game

More transfer action will happen on monday than the rest of January put together.

We put the offer in and the clubs around us will have to say yes or no. No horsetrading or agent bullshit. So I am still hopeful.

But we should have been doing this last deadline day back at the start of the season.
