You're not the only one!! (by the way I have nothing against a Muslim signing for Town if that ever did happen...as long as he can score!!)

Crispy would love that.

I think Caddis IS good. One of the best players we have, & needs a run in the team

I am a fan of Caddis, but I don't think he's a good option at right back! Would love to see him in midfield!

I thought he was shit earlier in the season when he played in midfield.  Energetic and willing, but shit.  Another problem with playing him in midfield is that a midfield with him, Ritchie, Ferry and Douglas offers little in terms of strength or height.

I think he's a good footballer, but I'm not sure what he best position is.  Like Jack Smith before, I don't think he's a RB and I don't think he's a RW either...

He wasn't played right midfield earlier in the season, he's worth a run out in that position because defensively he is out of his depth but has shown potential going forward.

When I saw him play for Celtic he always looked decent bombing forward. I guess at Celtic you are playing in a good team so therefore unless you are absolute gash you will look decent.

Our team is hopeless and so he's being held back. I think in last season's side he would have shone. I would argue that he is better than Kev going forward but we have yet to see this too much as we have been defending more than we did towards the end of last season.

Yep.  He played right midfield against Dagenham away.  In a four man midfield with Ball, Ferry and Douglas.  Ball was on the left and was absolutely useless.  Caddis did OK though.  I suppose shit was an exaggeration.

Have Celtic got any decent strikers that cannot get a game at present but would like regular games in the English League?  Surely with a club of their size they must have.  A replacement for Charlie Austin must be the first, second, third & fourth priority now

Have heard the rumour on the 'Football Rumours' site Nathan Tyson could be loaned to us. I asked around amongst my Forest supporting friends and the consensus was that this was highly unlikely.  He's not a regular in the Forest first team due to Billy Davies rotating the strikers that he has but has played & scored this season.  However a name that was floated as being a more likely candidate was Garner who they signed from Carlisle for a fat fee a couple of seasons ago & who's seldom considered for first team duty at the City Ground. I appreciate that, being ex-Carlisle & our experiences with Big Vince, he's unlikely to cause much enthusiasm amongst the Town End faithful but he was one of the reasons that John Ward's side made the play-off's back then. He's been on loan to Huddersfield earlier this season but didn't pull up too many trees there.  I just wonder if he'd be a possible?

Also the Matt Tubbs  of Crawley rumour - surely he'd have been scouted when he was at Salisbury and either discarded or trialled then?  Besides I loathe Evans - the man who puts the creepy into Crawley & I'd hate to give him either credit or money for Tubbs being signed for a fat fee.

Then there's O'Donovan at Coventry - he had a good loan spell at Hartlepool under DW but not featured for Adye Boothroyd's side very much since being signed so could he be another potential signing?

I don't doubt that DW is trying but it is becoming critical as the Transfer window closure date approaches. Has anyone heard any other rumours?

Good post that Professer and a very good shout on Garner. Would be great if we could get him here be it on loan or full time.

How about tempting Rotherham with a sizeable chunk of the Austin fund for Le Fondre...none of the bigger clubs seem keen?

I'm puzzled too by the apparent absence of interest in Le Fondre.  He's scored consistently at Rotherham & before that at Stockport (I think). Is he a troubled character who'd be a problem?  Does he drink, gamble, do drugs or rodger schoolgirls? Given the interest in Charlie surely a club higher up the pyramid must have at least sounded out Rotherham about selling him?

Having said that, I've not seen him play so is he a small & nippy fox in the box type?
