Maybe me being cynical but I love the slightly dark undertones to the song.
On another note I saw Brian live a few years ago at Glasto on the Sunday afternoon slot. Pint of warm cider in hand, sun beaming down it was all rather magical. The look on his face when he saw the crowd’s reaction was something I will never forget on that rather hazy trip. Genuinely touching.
