On the school run, my kids take turns in picking that day's music in the car. They've got their own spotify playlists which are full of all sorts, this morning my 8 year old asked to listen to this band Too Cool

I agree, only marginally worse than our Euro nil point effort next month.

That song is played to death on Radio 2! We could release Bohemian Rhapsody as our Euro effort and still nobody would vote for us. This year probably even worse due to the political landscape. But yes, nil points is almost certainly on the cards, although we may get votes from the aussies.

Decent, that. Is the lead singer a Yorkie or has he just perfected an Arctic Monkeys delivery?

The last week, where the sun has been shining, driving around in my car and listening to some pop punk. You can't beat it.

Yeah that's really right up my street. Totally get the Arctic Monkeys delivery as well, you wouldn't know it was a Spaniard singing that (if it is, suspect not!)

Can't we exit that travesty contest too?

The new Manchester Orchestra album was released today. The whole thing is a masterpiece but this is currently my favourite track from it.

Never heard of them before, will check them out, cheers. On first listen sounds a bit like Passenger.

Yeah, you're about there with Passenger.

I'm a bit of a fan boy and could talk about their music all day. The older albums are a lot different to the newer ones, but each has their own qualities. A Black Mile to the Surface is easily my favourite, this new album The Million Masks of God is really growing on me after several listens today.

I really, really hope they're able to tour the new album later this year.

If you liked ABMTTS you'll like this. Might take a few listens to get it, but it's good.

Has to be this one. Initially for the sentiment, but, its a grower.

For context, its a tribute to losing a best friend and colleague of 45 years standing.
