3 classic songs above. Nothing new music wise from me, as too much old stuff I need to hear. I'm currently running through John Holt, and U-Roy, listening to this a lot as it it makes me happy.

I've been trying to find some new music as I couldn't honestly even begin to make a list of best albums of 2016 so scoured some lists online, best I've found so far are:
Noise-rock from Norway
Beyoncé's better lil sis
Bit different from one another, granted.
Any recommendations?

That Solange album is wonderful. There's been a lot of lovely neo-soul going on the past year or so. Have you heard 'Freetown Sound' by Dev Hynes? Or more nostalgically, 'Changes' by Charles Bradley? Both worth a listen.

Struggled for years to get into The Fall. Like this by Brix & The Extricated though! http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p04ppjww
