There's a (fairly) new boss in charge at Sky Sports and some people are suggesting that he wanted rid of both of them and that they're using this as the excuse to do just that. Probably bollocks.

Pathetic? No. It's hilarious. We should be at the pure mocking stage by now. I think they should have a little rule, if there's big cameras and sound devices pointing at them - then don't say anything that could be held against them.
It's only a television show, I doubt very much that they'll be 'signing on' any time soon. I imagine TalkSPORT have already approached the pair of them.

Whether they were talking in private or not, they've lost credibility now with a lot of people...which is career suicide if you're in the public eye. Keys resigned because he knew he was finished - at least for the time being. Not quite as serious as Atkinson's comments in 2004, so he may be able to reappear in future after lying low for a while. But don't expect to see him out & about any time soon.

When ITV get bored of Adrian Chiles then there could be an opening for Richard Keys there.

People wanted them out, that stuff wasn't released by accident. Grey and Keys gave enough rope to hang themselves.
Turned into a witch hunt IMHO. It was wrong, but in the grand scheme of things I don't think the majority of people give a fuck deep down.

There is talk that there was people on Sky, especially the News division, didn't like them. There has to be some truth to that, as within 24 hours after the first video coming out, the Charlotte Jackson video was released on YouTube. I see Gray is planning on suing Sky.

My money would be on one or both of them having wandering hands and tried it on with the wrong junior researcher or whoever and she's got her revenge in far more effective fashion than a complaint to HR that would just get buried because they're "the talent". So she/they decided to bury them publicly with their own words

Keys has already done an interview with TalkSPORT today giving his side of events.

Due process flagrantly neglected by SKY, Murdoch or no Murdoch, Gray will win that hands down with the right lawyers.

I wouldn't fancy taking on Murdoch's lawyers for this sort of case. While other affiliates will continue to drag his name through the mud. I'm sure they have some more interesting footage on hand.
Gray will not risk losing a fortune and perhaps (ghost)write a book.
