Sorry but Wilson is deluded !

To say we are "nearly there" after being done 3-1 at Rovers is a fucking disgrace !

You could replay any post-match interview from Sept onwards really and it would be the same. In fact, I'm not sure that's not what they do sometimes

I sensed a few veiled digs at the board in that interview.

So how is Wilson planning on bringing players in by Tuesday or this week if the players aren't out there?  Those two points completely contradict each other.  Another bullshit interview, which sounds remarkably similar to those that he was giving in September.  The bloke is living in cloud cuckoo land.

I'm convinced that all those saying "every interview is the same" are either not listening properly, or just choosing to ignore certain bits. Wilson said a lot more than he has done in the past. He basically blamed the defence for our position and said we need to make changes there because it's not good enough. He sounded pretty angry when he said we gave the ball away in stupid areas, and he said our defending is killing the team. I've never heard him come out and be that frank about how bad we are at the back. I don't doubt him when he says the only problem is finding the right players to bring in but he's really got to get something sorted soon.

The only real positive thing talked about was that Charlie put a shift in.

I still think we can win on Tuesday. It's going to be a far cry from our home game against Tranmere last time though, when we won 3-0 without ever stepping out of 2nd gear.

Indeed. Perhaps Fitton could show him how Peter Reid (Peter fucking Reid mind you) is doing with a side that's having its best players sold right, left and centre. Compare that to Wilson and Danny has a right cushy job.

It's probably not the most sensible thing to do when you've failed to meet any of your yearly targets.

Indeed. You wonder if there is a defender that he wants but it's a older player and we don't pay money for those.

Like Samdy says, sounds like a good offer for Austin might be in.
