Thought LJF was motm, closely followed by Douglas. Ritchie and Smith were also good. The rest of the team were crap. A special mention for Pericard for the speed he got back at after one of out attacks broke down at the end and then got an important block in. Didn't realise he could move that quick, made it look like the other players were walking.

I can't actually criticise any of the players for the performance today though. When an entire team turns to shit and can't play anything close to their ability there is only one person to be blamed and that's the manager.

Just when you think things can't get worse - they do. For the first 25 minutes we were there for the taking and looking as thuogh we were waiting for them to score. The fact they couldn't take advantage was because they were utter, utter shite. For the last 20 in the first half we were the better team but we could have had 20 players on the pitch and still have done fuck all.
The second half was an absolute embarassment and worthy of anytihng that Malpas, King and even Beamish could muster up.
I think every player should be ashamed to draw their wages today and in fact I think they should donate this weeks wages to the STFC charity of the year. Wilson and the coaching staff should also do this.
Today was the absolute fucking pits. Yeovil were bollox and we were worse.
Wilson has to go. For the second home game we're chasing he brings on Timlin. Did he even touch the ball today?
No spirit, no skill, no will to win, no bottle, no fucking interest = relegation candidates.

We were a shambles in the second half lacking fight or spirit against a poor Yeovil and this is becoming tedious losing regularly to crap teams.

Please, on throw-ins can the players fucking move. Particulary aimed at 'sticky boots' Prutton.

Doesn't help when the supporters have given up on them before they've even kicked off. Shit support and atmosphere yet again.

Oh that does my fucking nut in.  No movement at all, no desire to show for it.  Douglas did start to in the second half but the whole season we've been lacking this!!!

Good post - agree with most of this but I think the 4 players mentioned in jonny72's post above should be exempt from the penalty.
Btw was it Timlin whose shot was expertly blocked by Charlie near the end?

If I were DW I'd be making the whole damn squad train tomorrow. Why give them a rest when clearly they're not giving their all on the pitch?

I don't know why everyone is suddenly blaming the support. Even last season at home our atmosphere was quite shit in my opinion apart from when we scored, and the town end. It was only the away games that everyone really made some noise.

It's hard to show support to players that constantly underperform and look like they can't be arsed

This shitness is doubtless sparked by players seeking moves, contract wrangles etc.....makes it a difficult job....it will still be a difficult job if someone else takes it on...at least Wilson knows whats going on and has the experience to sort it out.

It's not suddenly, the support and atmosphere at the CG has historically been a bit crap just at the moment it's fucking dire

I predict my absence from the forum for 1 week, should we lose.

3-1 Swindon. Our season starts here. *gulp*

Anyone seen or heard from Bazza? Hope he's not making his way to Bridgend...
