Sacking is a bigger gamble, we know AF likes to take his time in these matters, so we could have a caretaker through Jan, and then appoint someone like Paul Trollope.
Let Wilson see out his contract...then judge from there...
I think Fitton has demonstrated that he's not a complete fucking idiot, so after making the same mistake twice, I can't see he'd be making a managerial appointment again just from who might be available at the time for free. A few months back I argued let the man see out his contract and find someone else in the summer. We're now in very real danger of being sucked into a relegation fight, and don't really look like we have the stomach for one. If we're going to make a change it needs to be done quick and we need to spend some compensation cash to get someone that can turn things around. Two names: Paul Tisdale Gary Waddock |
